Lost Filipino Nationalism

What happened to the feeling of being faithfully loving to our country? What happened to the nationalism that we are supposed to show to our country? People nowadays opt to move away from our country and settle down in another place. They try to seek for a better life in a place not within the boundaries of our country. Would they really be able to find something better outside the country? Well, there are many people who became successful when they worked in other countries. They became rich because of the hard work and effort they put into what they earn. While there are also others whose status in life doesn’t even change even if they moved out of the country. Much worse is that there are also other people whose lives became more miserable when they lived in another country. Many things could happen when people try to live in another place. They become successful or not. . But one thing is for sure when this situation arises. Somehow, they have lost their sense of nationalism for our country because they choose to live somewhere else. Think about it, wouldn’t it be better if you just make yourself feel at home and successful in your own country rather than be seen struggling in another?

In the First place, it is not their fault to leave the country because if they stay here they will just die or add to the country's burden?
So I believe leaving the country is nationalistic act in some way.

Law of nature: Every time someone earns, another party spends.

How will everyone be better off in that scenario? answer is impossible. Some leave the country for a while, then return after they become rich.

sometimes, you cannot blame those filipinos who work abroad because let's admit that each of us wants to live stably. it just happens that their only choice is to work abroad. there are even some who don't want to leave their families behind but they must because they need to work abroad if they want to financially stabilize their families.
the bad thing is that those filipinos who just want to go abroad because they believe within themselves that the philippines has no more hope. that's the lost nationalism.
