Personal Nationalism

How does one become nationalistic? For me one must love their country as much as they can. Solve problems as they arise instead of looking for who to blame. One need not be in the government to create change, one just needs his passion to change the country towards a brighter future. Electing candidates that are qualified and intelligent enough to do a job, electing those who want to serve others not those who want to serve themselves. Following simple laws by not littering and no j-walking and not bribing nor threatening traffic enforcers with you "connections". This is all i can think for now so post a comment and add what you think is personal nationalism.

Yeah. Lofty ideas about nationalism should first be realized with the self.

If only we're not corrupted by greed!

we are losing our national identity. for example, look at our local shows, we copy american concepts without even putting the effort to make it our own, it's like watching the same show only in a different language.

your message is very simple but it is very clear and i believe that what you said is really about how to become personally nationalistic to one's country.
regarding the election, even though you know you can feel that the one you will vote will not win the elections but you still voted for him, you are nationalistic in the sense because you know that this person just wanted to help the country that's why he's running the elections.
